So cute and easy to make!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO MAKE YOUR HALLOWEEN SUN CATCHER:

plastic, opaque container (vinegar jug, milk jug etc)
craft knife or exacto knife
permanent markers

Cut the milk/vinegar bottle so that it lies flat.  Draw your ghost/shape and trace with a Sharpie!

Cut it out and any eyes or such that you want for your sun catcher.

We used Sharpies, but crayons or gel paints would work well too. Colouring on a plastic surface like this one is somewhat different than colouring on paper. The markers glide around on the plastic and colour quality of the markers is brighter and quite, translucent. Providing materials that are different than the ones your child normally gets creative with will add interest and enrich the creative process for your child.

Color Halloween sun catcher and it’s ready to hang up!
