Jungle by Liana

On Saturday I went to the Jungle it was creepy. I saw a tiger, Guess what? I almost got eaten! that was extremely scary. After being in the jungle for a while I started to get hungry so I found the cafeteria. In the cafeteria I ordered pizza, while I was eating the pizza a parrot flew over my head. I started talking to the parrot and the parrot kept repeating everything I was saying. I couldn’t help but laugh. The parrot was very silly and I knew I had to have a parrot of my own. I begged my parents for one so went to the pet shop and I got to get a parrot of my own. When I left the pet store with my parrot on my shoulder we went to look at all the rest of the animals in the jungle. My parrot kept making different animal noises, it was so funny. Can you imagine a parrot roaring like a lion, or hissing like a tiger? Well, maybe you should get a parrot of your own and go to the jungle. You will have a experience that you will never forget. Don’t forget to bring tissues because you will be laughing to hard you will start to cry.

Liana, I love your jungle story! Very descriptive vocabulary! The parrot is so, so fun! I loved how he imitated the jungle animals! No, I couldn’t picture a parrot roaring! But, I have to say, my favorite part was your ending–“Don’t forget to bring tissues because you will be laughing too hard you will start to cry.” I loved this and I love to laugh! Are you sure you are only almost 8????
